HYSB Counseling Services
Counseling for Families, Individuals and Groups
Our door is open to area youth, teens and parents looking to make wise decisions in a complex world. We offer counseling, practical information, resource and referrals to other area services if appropriate.
Call us if you’re looking for:
- Someone to talk to in a safe, supportive setting
- Help with a crisis you can’t handle alone
- Referral assistance to help identify local providers and resources for adults, children and families
- Reliable information about issues affecting you and your family
- An advocate to assist you in obtaining social service or legal information
HYSB also provides case management and specialized support services for those youth who are at greater risk of substance use. A Certified Addictions Counselor is available by appointment to speak with youth and parents in Region One school district. There is no charge for this service. All calls and interviews are confidential. Referrals are accepted from parents, teens, schools and juvenile court. For more information or to make an appointment please call the HYSB at 860-824-4720.
Our confidential services are free to youth and families in the six towns of Regional School District One: North Canaan, Falls Village, Salisbury, Sharon, Cornwall, and Kent. Appointments are flexible. Call 860-824-4720.
