HYSB Offerings for families in Connecticut's Northwest Corner
Free, convenient counseling when life’s problems threaten to get out of control.
- We offer effective, professional counseling to youth who are troubled or in crisis.
- This counseling is "barrier-free." It costs nothing. It's friendly and confidential. And it's convenient — because that makes a difference. Our office is next door to the Housatonic Valley Regional High School. Counseling is available during free periods, after school, and in the evening.
- To help build stronger, more successful kids and families, our Services and Programs include many long-running and popular projects, such as the Wilderness Club for Boys, Empowering Young Women Project, F.Y.I (For Your Information) Workshops, Defensive Driving, the Community Action Team Against Underage Drinking, the Battle of the Bands, and more.
- But HYSB is not just for kids. We also help parents who aren’t sure what to do find their way, with crisis intervention, counseling and referrals, and our new Family Solutions program.
